Day 1.

2 rounds were scheduled for today but only 1 was played. There was the usual welcome to all and the explanation that we were now 10 programs. Diep pulled out as did the Australian program. falcon played this morning on a laptop v the mobile phone the rest of us did not do much.

This afternoon an improvement was made to the internet which allowed the remaining round 1 games to be played with several disconnections. This was still not really satisfactory.

One possible solution is that we play at the Hotel tomorrow where the internet seems ok. The logistics of getting a router and 10 cables would be a problem. However Hiarcs team to the rescue

I managed to configure my Macbook to be a wireless router and so now all can connect to the internet through it. A final decision has not been made about where we will play round 2 but we have the option to play here.

Tomorrow we are white v Jonny in round 2.
