Dear chessfriends,
this is going to be my first post here :D

The idea with the subforum for tournaments also gives another idea in general: One has to create sub-forums to keep the main forum less chaotic.

Generally in my humble opinion forum sub-categories like: General Discussions - Hiarcs in specific - Test positions and so on and so far should exist. This is a new forum and it will take time, but why not posting some suggestions already  And maybe we need also a category: How to bother Harvey in the right way [little joke]

Sebastian

Hello everyone,

Great to see that Hiarcs has it's own forum now.

This will hopefully lead to less slander against your team and results.

I would seriously consider installing the following mods to phpbb to make it easier to administrate:

Anti-Spam ACP 2.0.8
Block Open Proxy Registrants 2.2.1
Approval MOD 1.0.0
EasyMod 3.0

All can be found at phpbb.com via their search and quite easy to install.

About the FEN positions on the board, I have the installation instructions here from a previous board that I had. I will dig them up and send them your way.
