Good news, glad to see some new news on the PocketPC front.Would this new engine be available for sale as an additional for PF3 owners at some stage? Or is it just experimental at this stage?Or have to be bundled exclusivly with PF4?

The Good News is that Hiarcs won round 1. I will try to get hold of all the games. See the results here http://www.ajedrezmartelli.org.ar/magis ... 09.htm#ITT

I have been analyzing the item 2 game and see that PF4 a mistake has committed in the play 33 … Re8?, the programs Palm Hiarcs 9.7 and PC Hiarcs 12 give the winning line of the game 33 … .h4! Concerning seconds.

Palm Hiarcs 9.7 , 33...h4! :D

I have surprised this movement the Pocket Fritz 4 , 33...Re8? and 37...f5?? in item "game" that gained tape-worm ….

Regards … … …..

Hi chessfriends,

here some pictures from the Mercosur-Cup 2009 taken at 2nd round.

The first one shows the venue from inside:

Here you can see Pocket Fritz 4 (a recent Hiarcs version) play GM Valerga. The game ended in a draw!

Kind regards,
