40 / 20:
This week we added more than 1900 games to our database. New in our list are Zappa Mexico 2CPU and Petir 4.999. With these engines and DeepSjeng 2.7 1CPU we made the most games. See more in our list "Games of the week".
In total our 40/20 list is based on 182732 games!
New engines:
Release of the week was the uci engine Zappa Mexico. After now 692 games the engine could win +23 elos in comparison to Zap!Chess Zanzibar x64 2CPU. It is now easier to make matches against native Chessbase engines and as the match Rybka-Zappa in Mexico is just running I will start the same match witch 4 CPUs for CEGT 40/20 and play online on http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/Werner.
Another new release was Petir4.999. But here we have no good news for Peter Alloysius: the engine is clear behind the previous versions.
updated engines:
This week we continued testing DeepSjeng 2.7 1CPU. The engine could improve its start rating and has now +73 elos more than the version 2.5!! DeepSjeng 2.7 2CPU has now 2796 elos - at the moment only 12 points better than the 1CPU version. Perhaps with more games for the 1CPU DeepSjeng we will have more difference.
Rybka 2.32a 4CPU lost some points and has now 3096 elos after a lost match against Zap!Chess Zanzibar x64 4CPU (which is now close to 3000 mark).
40 / 120:
The new DeepSjeng 2.7 2CPU lost some points (-11) after a promising start last week. With 2809 elos it has still a better rating compared to our 40/20 list. The ranking is the same: behind Spike 2CPU, Toga II 1.3.1 and Fruit 2.3 agg.
Our Database has now more than 13800 games.
