"Tournament's Rules

The Grand Bali Hotel is offering to its clients this tourney.
From December 1st to December 9th on the morning from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Open to players of any level and FIDE ELO residing on the Grand Bali Hotel.

We hope to have more than 60 entries.

Time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move.

UP TO 3 BYES CAN BE REQUESTED

Players must annotate their moves on the game board just like any other event. The board and clock will be the only reference on the game's state.

The game's hall will provide wireless Internet connection. The organizers are not responsible of possible service unavailability.

The players will be able to use any electronic device :

Laptops, PDAs, mobil phones, etc. The use of Laptops is recommended over desktop computers. The players should remove their electronic devices from the hall after a round.

The use of mobil phone and chat software or instant messaging (MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) will be limited to only talking about the chess game.

PRIZES

The first Tourney of Advanced Chess will have an important prize jackpot:

1º Prize: 2.500 € + Trophy

2º Prize: 1.200 € + Trophy

3º Prize: 800 € + Trophy

4º Prize: 500 € + Trophy

5º Prize: 300 € + Trophy

6º Prize: 200 € + Trophy

7º Prize: 150 € + Trophy

From 8º to 10º classified: 100 €

From 11º to 15º classified: 90 €

From 16º to 20º classified: 80 €

From 21º to 30º classified: 70 €
