Fen Diagrams working?

It Seems the FEN diagrams are not working in the forum
i made a post with 3 Fen Diagrams and only blank boards appear

I'm not sure what is going on.. Some starting positions work but others do not...

I haven't changed anything for quite some time, so our host must have broken something...

it figures...
i finally manage a win against one of the dedicated computers and i make a huge post about it in another thread complete with analysis and diagrams ...and the dang computer server refuses to show the positions
some times i think these computers are all in collusion together against us humans
:P

I will be looking into this matter further over the next week.

I'll keep you (and everyone) posted. My apologies to everyone who has been disrupted by the FEN diagrams not working properly.

Yes -- the problem is not easily solved. I will need to consult someone with deeper PHP skills than I have...

I will keep everyone updated as things progress...

FENs are back online!

Special thanks to member Bidibulle for links he provided to a newer version of the diagram code. We're unable to use the new code directly (it's meant for phpBB version 3), but it assisted in figuring out the failure that was happening with our installed code.

FEN Button Added

There is now a FEN button located next to the 'URL' and 'YouTube' buttons in the posting view.

It will function the same as the other BBCode buttons: Click once to open the FEN tag, add your text (FEN position) and then click the button again to close your tag.

Happy 'FEN'ing... :lol:
