Win a Brand new Palm Computer + Hiarcs

Post by Harvey Williamson »

Would you like to win a brand new Palm hand held Computer plus a copy of Hiarcs to run on it?

In this poll you have 2 guesses pick the engine you think will finish highest in the list and also the one you think will finish lowest at next weekends Dutch Open in Leiden.

http://www.csvn.nl/index.php?option=com ... 0&Itemid=1

In the event of tie all the correct answers will go into a hat or should it be clog!? The first 2 drawn out will both win a brand new Palm + Hiarcs.

This Poll will close next Friday morning before round 1 starts.

Hello Harvey,

best wishes to the Hiarcs team for this event.

I think that Rybka will win and that Tzjezz will finish last.

Regards, Graham.

Unfortunately I know nothing about Tzjezz so I have no opinion about the question if Tzjezz is going to finish last.

I never knew that there is a chess program with the name Tzjezz before reading this poll.

Best wishes to the Hiarcs team anyway. It would be nice to see a tough fight.

I'll choose Hiarcs to finish highest from your list and Tzjezz to finish last.

I suspect I misread your initial question - thinking I had to pick the winner rather than which would finish highest from your list.

In which case I have to say "Go Hiarcs!" :D

Now you have to vote in the poll not post your answer here :)

Done - I didn't realise that it would register my name with the votes that way. It must work more cleverly than the other forums. :)

Hi Graham and All,

When the poll expires simple results will be made known - number of votes for each option but mot who voted for what. There is an option I can enable that will also show detailed results at the end - do people want to see this?

Note that voting increase your chances relative to posting because even if you are completely wrong and the program that you predict to finish highest finish lowest and the program that you predict to finish lowest finish highest then you still win.

complete details of the exact Palm Hiarcs which the winners will be receiving are not yet finalized

i will announce the two winners once the results are known this Sunday
in the event of multiple correct answers (which appears likely) i will be randomly selecting 2 winners from a hat

it should be remembered that the voting ends THIS friday morning - as round 1 starts then!

When Harvey returns victoriously from Leiden we will provide the exact specs for the Palm Hiarcs being offered

for now we all wish Harvey God Speed and we all want him to remember he fights in Leiden not just for himself..and not just for Hiarcs..but for God and Country as well

Make that God And Forum Regards
