Sorry, didn't know it had a voice. That makes it even more tacky.

Ah Yes...
The Elusive Decorator Challenger
Not to be confused with the Grandmaster Voice Challenger which was sold in pretty much the same wooden housing only without the little legs
I have never actually seen an original box for the Decorator
would love to get my hands on that box
Completeness Counts Regards
Steve

Yes, the Decorator had a voice. Like the Grand Master Voice its predecessor.
Both of them have inside a full Voice Challenger.
You could find more details on my website: http://chesseval.com/RareBoard/Decorator/Decorator.htm

On the subject of boxes becoming rare, that will happen more and more
over the years ahead. The box frays a little more every time it's opened
or closed. I store the CC1 box inside a black garbage bin liner. Of course
some owners threw the box away on the first day.

Excellent site...! Straight into my 'favorites' to use the American spelling

A beautiful machine. I have got a Master Series box in mint condition
ready for it to go straight into. However the seller will not ship to
Australia. I won one of these a few months ago from Saudi Arabia only
to have the seller welch after the auction, stating that his brother, who
owned the DM4, changed his mind.
Seems the chess gods have deemed that I am not to have a Mach4.
Deflation Regards
Some sellers make the grave and expensive mistake of refusing
to ship internationally. He likely cost himself a couple of hundred bucks.
