i guess the idea was to replace the standard board and pieces and replace it with a fine chess set?
anyway...things go a bit downhill when you open up the module draw
That made a pretty penny for the owner. . I guess people were convinced about the collective value of this odd-looking thing. I just hope that the bidder actually pays the sum, seems like a new trend, bidding astronomous sums and then no show...

Yes
a pretty penny for something i wouldn't want in my collection even if it was free
i guess there will always be those that desire the one-of-a-kind and the strange and bizarre...Macabre even
anyway..this must be a new worlds record price for an
...or shrudeness on the part of the seller. The well-known Niggemann is offering a München with Vancouver modules for no less then 2150 euros, with a garanty for 12 months... Statistically, chances are high that a machine that lasted for 20+ years will not need the buyer to call upon that garanty...
If I recall well, one could have a new Bavaria with Vancouver for that price in the old days...
On would be tempted to offer Niggemann a part of one's collection in exchange for a Revelation II
this is one of those computers where the box is even harder to find then the computer
actually both the computer and its box are separate inductees of the "Ultra Rare" Collection
The Master Modder ups the anti(pun intended) with this.. his latest modification
an EAG Dual Processor 68030 motherboard with 1MB Ram clocking at 33 Mhz
you will have to bring your own EAG housing to the party
to handle this horse power he had to re-tool the power supply
Fidelity Released a Dual Processor 68000 and 68020 but not a dual processor 68030
this is so far removed from those originally released dual processor EAG's that it basically a totally different computer
i guess we could call it the V9²
hard to believe it sold for $1600 considering that just the night before
another R2500 sold for $500 less (around $1100)
the seller has posted elsewhere here in the forum that he paid $5 bucks for this one
maybe the buyer thought he was getting a Risc 2500 AND a Mephisto Montreux
Seller offers a BRAND-NEW Citrine for a mere $2,999. If that's too rich for your blood, you could settle for the collectible Citrine at a mere $1,999. It's tempting to contact the seller with some sort of sarcastic note, but I'll refrain (you can't right every wrong on the Internet).
Yeah, it's Amazon, not ebay, and the seller is plainly a dipstick. Admittedly, my Citrine isn't new - but it's complete, and it came with the box, manual and all accessories, and I paid about $200. Maybe I could make a killing.

I picked up a brand new Citrine for only £50 the other day on eBay.
The lady seller had found it in the loft of her new house and advertised it for £70 but accepted my £50 offer. I was lucky as I saw her ad within minutes of her putting it on and was still online when I messages my offer.
All done and dusted within 5 minutes.

Yes, that Renaissance with the Sparc module caught my eye, too. I wouldn't have a problem paying a premium price for that combination. Because that is the #1 item on my

I told him to name his price
even though it was his second example of this computer he would not sell it to me
his exact words were ...
