Trying To Cancel my $600 order for the MCGE Regards

Steve - Sorry to hear about your recent financial decline. Wondering if your wife's excess medicines or exotic diet will provide an opportunity to assist in your recover from this recent event.

Hopefully you have not suffered such a significant decline that you will have to begin selling your collection...

I appreciate the concern Guys
thankfully i have hit upon a fool-proof plan to recover some of my losses in the market
i have decided to accept delivery of the MCGE which is due to arrive mid-week
i will immediately put the computer up for sale on Ebay and list it as a "Buy Now" for $2500
i am confident it will sell quickly as i will list it as ...

Super Rare And Vintage Regards
Steve

....or as "to be repaired" - strangely enough, this small add on increases the price even more (sometimes :P )...

To be as complete as possible, as an alternative to the 'no adapter excuse', add that the computer turns on, but you don't know how to play chess so you don't know if it's running correctly or not. Also, you might be able to get more interest if at least one piece is missing.

Appealing ToThe Lowest EBay Common Denominator Regards,
Dave

yes the latest SC9A i bought is in that case:

the computer turns on but the sensory membrane is KO.
it is not possible to make the first move, the computer don't accept any move.
the electronic part is not the faulty but only the sensory surface.
( i swapped the sensory surface with one of my other SC9 to verify that point).

For the photos, don't forget to set the pieces up like you're playing checkers, not chess. Pieces set up like a checkers game add at least 100% to the asking price.

i dont think you can use any other Mephisto display modules with the Senator
i didnt test that for fear i might screw something up
You have to use the Generation 6 displays for the modules made after the Saitek takeover of Mephisto. The older displays may work (I haven't tried) but they will be missing some of the icon-based elements present in the newer displays.
