I guess not, after it hit mate in 15 it seem to stay locked in on that mate. Now I wonder how long would SP version that to locate the Mate in 14. I will have to re-test it to find out.

Maybe not enough hash. I ran test with 512Mb Hash. Ran test with SP version on same machine and it wasn't too far behind MP engine although it needed an extra 2 ply! Seems like the extended search depth was most important here.
