That's a common mistake the webmaster should fix. Meanwhile, rightclick on the link and Save As ...

Not good Steve :-( Hope Ruud can help recover your machine.

I was waiting to see a change log and list of improvements before flashing the firmware, think I'll wait till the beta tag is lost too now.

Ruud emailed me and told me the Updates were posted on the web-site too early and have been taken down
anyone who downloaded them should NOT try to install them

Premature Regards

I spent the majority of the afternoon reading all of these informative comments about the Revelation II and am looking to purchase one. I live in the USA and wondered if anyone could recommend a distributor. Also, I would be primarily interested in buying a Revelation II with the optional older chess engine emulations.

Thank you,
Brian B

I would HIGHLY recommend you buy it from Ruud's Co.Directly
I also live in the USA and his company is the only one I have ever bought any of his computers from

just go to his web site and contact him directly
if you are more comfortable using a US distributor then ask him which one he recommends
he will reply quickly
be alerted though that Rev II's bought from Ruud have a different serial numbering system then bought elsewhere

Steve B and Wardy thank you for your help!

I will try tomorrow, but am having trouble connecting to the Phoenix site. Down for maintenance or is it on my end?

Thanks again,
Brian B

I use www.chesscomputer.eu - seems to go to the same site anyway, but maybe try that?

Still no luck on either site, getting a message about a bad gateway and proxy server issue, whatever that means.
