Save board colors

Post by Opal »

Just wanted to quickly ask if there is a way to save board colors.
I have come up with a nice color combination that I like, under Plain Colors, and now I want to save it.
Been using it for a while so I know all I need to do is hit Apply but what if I want to come up with another one?

Thanks

I recognize this may not be the most active forum on the internet but if someone could tell me if this is at least a possibility that would be great.

Thanks

In Preferences you can set the board colours when the plain colours option is selected. You can choose any colour you wish and these settings will be saved and used.
Best wishes,
Mark

I understand that very well and have done that, as my post indicated.
However if I want to come up with another color theme will I lose the one I already established?
I don't see a way to save several color themes.

Thanks

There is only one entry for plain coloured board squares so if you change your saved colours then they will be changed and going back to them will require you to re-enter the colours.
Best wishes,
Mark

OK thank. That's all I needed to know.
I greatly appreciate you taking out the time and answering my question.
LOVE!!!!!!!!!! The software.
I'm running it on Win 7 machine (HP Workstation) and Hiarcs has been rock solid.
Hiarcs never crashes no matter what, and I'm one of those guys who leaves my computer on for weeks at a time.

Thanks again.
