other Mac chess engines for Hiarcs UI?

Post by mohishunder »

For the moment I'm using Hiarcs on a Mac mostly for ending study/sparring, and I wonder whether it might always play a given ending in an idiosyncratic way which (even if best) does not represent all "styles" of defense.

To vary my opposition, what are some other chess engines (if any) that will plug in to the Hiarcs UI on a Mac?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions - those other programs defend very differently. Just what I was looking for.
