Hi, Larry

The same thing was with Montreux: one of old 32kb chips (from 128kb set) became dead, so it was replaced by new 512kb x 4 chips and now its fine!

Celadus, with TurboKing other manufacturer's chips than Mitsubishi could be also tried if its tough to find (Hyundai, Hitachi, etc.), so You must know that required RAM is CMOS-type (not NOS) DIP-28 and the 32kb chips DIP-28 aren't compatible wth TK / Milano / Modena and other oldies - only 8kb as original. Anyhow in chip's name must be present P and L letters; numbers show access time speed and could be any: -70 (70ns), -10 (100ns), -12 (120ns), etc.

p.s. ...and dont mix up kbYtes with kbItes!

Examples:

HY6264ALP-10
here 64 means kbItes, so / by 8 = 8kbYtes (this chip is set in both Milano & Modena)
could be also written 65 as in TK's M5M5165P-12L
