Post by appleshampogal »

Does anyone have one they are selling? I'm looking to add a fourth computer to my collection!

Does anyone also know how it compares to the Novag Forte B?

Sorry, can't help you by selling you one, I had one but sold it to a
guy who used to frequent this forum. It out rates the Forte by
about 100 or so "Aktiv" ELO points and actually out rates the
later Super Forte C on the same list. It seems to be fairly rare, so
I hope you are patient.

Hmm, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled. How does forte B compare to the program running on super B? Are they the same program?

Look at this link it has a good rating list of a lot of dedicated chess machines including forte B http://www.schachcomputer.info/html/akt ... liste.html

Thank you Ricard. I actually refer to that list often. I know the Super is obviously stronger. I'm just curious if the super B is the same program, but simply enhanced, or is it different? Could I expect a similarily exciting and aggressive game like Forte B?
