Deep Hiarcs 14 WCSC lost against Chessmaster Personality

Deep Hiarcs 14 WCSC lost against Chessmaster Personality

I tried a few games against chessmaster grandmaster personalities including Chessmaster personality. I wanted to see how effectively will Hiarcs play against them. Hiarcs is able to beat them almost every single time. If Chessmaster personalities play openings that are closed, games end as a draw (no iniciative, and personalities uses a tablebases).

But suddenly one personality was able to beat Deep Hiarcs 14 on a full strength in a closed position. It was a really tough game.

The King is a great engine and it will win a few games however I doubt it would do well in a match of several games.

The King is a great engine and it will win a few games however I doubt it would do well in a match of several games.
Exactly! When I made an engine match with 50 games with the strongest opponent called Chessmaster (TheKing350 64bit engine), King engine was not able win and draw against Hiarcs. Hiarcs won every game easily. Hiarcs have no problem at all against Chessmaster personality (the strongest settings). Only some grandmaster personalities play openings that are so closed, so Hiarcs win about 70% of closed games, 30% end as a draw..
