Will Hiarcs issue a new engine in 2015?

Thanks

There will be a new Hiarcs Chess Explorer and engine later this year.

Will be a new Hiarcs Chess Explorer 2.0 available as a free update, or will it be released with new Hiarcs engine?

2.0 will be a major upgrade and there will be a fee to pay.

Will be Deep Hiarcs 15 engine included in HCE 2.0, or will we have to buy separately HCE 2.0 and new Hiarcs engine?

It will be included.

And if we don't want to pay for HCE 2.0, we will lose our Hiarcs Book online subscription right each year with the current version 1.8 ? Rolling Eyes

If you have paid for 1 year of book updates I am sure you will get them.

Yes, i am sure too ( sorry, i was not clear ) but after ?
The new HCE 2.0 will be absolutly necessary for use future HB online please ?

I think the updates will still work in 1.8.

Thanks for the quick update Harvey. Good luck with the project (I'll cross my fingers) - but for now have a good summer!

Could you please reveal us if Hiarc really will be released this year? Smile

I see that v2 is about to be released some time in this year.

If I buy v1.8 Mac version today I would have to again pay for 2.0 or is it free upgrade?

Is it better to wait for 2 and not buy 1.8? I am interested in Deep HIARCS Chess Explorer.

I am in the same boat- I want to purchase and start using HCE, but if there is a major new version that is going to be released any day now, should I hold on- or would I receive some sort of free upgrade?

Cheers

No, new version will not be released as a free upgrade. HCE 2.0 will be a major upgrade and there will be a fee to pay. I'm afraid that HCE 2.0 will not be released this year.

No one seems to be contradicting you, which is a bit worrying.

HCE v2.0 and Hiarcs 15 will not be available in 2015. At the moment Spring 2016 seems most likely.
