Lost ability to go through variations

Lost ability to go through variations
I have Hiarcs 1.1. Some time ago on many of the older games on which I had let the anaylsis engine do a full analysis, which I had saved, the annotations turned from blue to green and I lost to ability to play through the variations which Hiarcs had out in as a result of its analysis. What went wrong and is there a way of restoring the ability to play through the variations?

You can always click on variations using the mouse.
If you want to be offered variations when using the keyboard arrows to go through a game you should use the ctrl+arrow (cmd+arrow on mac) keys. Then when a move with a variation is reached you will be given the choice in a dialog.
I highly recommend you update to version 1.8, it has many more features than 1.1 and it is free to you as an existing customer. Simple choose Help->Check for updates and follow the instructions.
