Hi Oswaldo,

A clon is another machine that play the same games as the other. For example it is known that the Saitek Centurion is a clon of the Mephisto Chess Challenger. Here is a post about this:

Beware of the fact that, as the site says, clones not necesarily are identical, just similar. Some variations of Rams, etc can produce a diiference even if slight.

smaller boards

Post by dedicate computers »

Hello Festina;
True, but the characteristic of the game should not change, that is, whether aggressive or not, anyway. But a subject that I would like to address would be the fact of playing with against smaller boards board, such as Novag Super Constelation and other.
I'm used to playing with larger boards, example, Exclusive, Elite A/S; EAG , so my question is do you don't notice a difference, i.e., uncomfortable playing against these smaller boards?

Hi Man.
First. I am not "festina", that is my motto here. It is a latin word that means "hurry up", but in the sentence means hurry up slowly.
Second, no, I do not note a difference respect the size of the board. I always use medium size ones of wood if the computer has no board and I have just GM with a big board.
Every other, like SC, is medium.
