(Hi Gerhard,
i7 is a pretty powerful processor especially at 4.3 GHz Smile I am surprised about Komodo being only 2500 ? Is your computer slowed down? As I would imagine Komodo being easily being around 3000++ ELO?
Best regards

Hi Nick,
once I have reassembled the Mysticum I will look at the logfile of the BT-tests.
It might easily be that the required solutions are not correct upon deeper inspection which would falsify the rating...
Greetings,
Gerhard

I hate to suggest it as sounds like I am promoting my 5 test games, but I am pretty certain they would give you a much more accurate rating for Komodo on your computer.
The tests are just like playing a game on a chess computer, you play a move and take it back to enter the next move from a game and the spreadsheet when finished will give you a final score automatically.
If you want to try it to see how Komodo performs then let me know.
Best regards
Nick

Hi Nick,
yes, it would be interesting to apply your test if you give me clear instructions how to perform it as I am sometimes digitally challenged...
I notice how approaching older age slows down my thought-processes, I can remember nearly all the DOS-commands and what they do, but finding a corrupted dll-file in my tax-program took me hours today which still was faster than calling a hotline etc.
best regards,
Gerhard

Click on the link below. the first post has the instructions and all the Excel spreadsheets for you to download. If you have any questions then let me know. There is nothing really for you to type other then the information of the programs. The moves are all chosen from a dropdown list. You just have to pick the move that your computer played and the move on to the next move. You computer plays both white and black positions. Once you have played a few moves you should find this very easy to do.

Android Komodo scored ELO 2858 in these tests, so hopefully when you have tested you should see your Komodo score a little better than that. Below link shows you how it performed.
