Countrywide Computers

Post by WispaBar »

I was sorting through my computers, checking they were still working when i found a brochure from 1995 for Countrywide Computers.

Everything from a Mein Erster Mephisto for £69 to a Tasc R30 for £1495.

Would upload photos if anyone is interested, and i could find out how!

Yet it would be interesting to see. But you would have to load it to a personal site and then link it to here to see the images.

ps. should you have problems with this then another option is to email them to me and I will be happy to upload them for you to share here.

Best regards
Nick

Hi,

I'm interested too to see these photos!

It's a bit complicate to publish photos here; as Nick mentioned you need webspace somewhere to upload your photos there and need to put an url link within your post to your uploaded photo.

Michael

Finally got round to posting the images.

I always looked with envy at the Mephisto Exclusive and never thought that 20 years later I would own one.

Anyway, enjoy these images

Same here in those days most of the good ones were all way above my price range and it's great to see one of the brochures i used to drool over again.

I have to admit all the talk about pop ups had me wondering what is going on as every time i used the link there was no pop ups at all then i thought others can't be wrong. I use a Mac and run Safari as my browser and as a Safari extra i run Adblock as the norm so i just turned Adblock off and now i can see what some others are seeing.

Well at least this as proved that the browser add on AdBlock does work and if i turn it off i can also see the problem and no the link was not suitable. WispaBar i think you owe Steve an apology he did no more then any other mod would have done.
I see comments that i refer to have been removed now
