My Mysticum is built into a camera case which I found convenient for carrying around. The computer itself is a Wyse Via Nehemiah with 1000 MHz. It has CPUID which is a X86 processor benchmark which allows me to configure the speed of my computer in 50 MHz increments from 500 MHz to 1000 MHz. In addition by using a combination of CPUID and MOSLO after long intensive testing that we did a few years ago, I also have several preset settings that run chess engines through an option selection at approximately the equivalent speeds of:
68020 - 12 MHz
68020 - 20 MHz
68020 - 40 MHz
But I am not limited to the above as I can with testing simulate any speed I want up to 1000 MHz.
The first tests that I want to do though is to play it at it's proper full speed of 1000 MHz.
Mysticum Stockfish 2.2.1 JA - Jan 2012 - Tord Romstad, Marco Costalba & Joona Kiiski
This tested version of Stockfish came out in January 2012 and was compiled by Jim Ablett hence the JA behind the version.

Mysticum 1000 WCHESS 1.6 - 1994 - DAVID KITTINGER
This is the UCI version of WChess 1.6 from David Kittinger. WChess 1.6 sensationally scored 5 out of 6 points against Grandmasters in the 1994 Harvard Cup performing at a level of 2895 ELO, drawing against Joel Benjamin and Alex Yermolinsky, while beating Patrick Wolff, Michael Rohde and Alexander Shabalov. However in a playoff against Joel Benjamin it lost by 4 points to 1, drawing 2 games and losing 3.
Novag of course used this result in all their advertising of WChess 1.6. This is however the strongest program that David Kittinger ever wrote. The engine itself was used a lot in later chess learning programs such as Lego Chess, Majestic Chess and Powerchess. The Fritz for Fun or Learn with Fritz series using Chessbase and Frans Morsch seems to be a follower idea based on the Kittinger's success.

Surely, WChess 2000 was the strongest?

You are right! I had totally forgotten about the existence of WChess 2000.
Someone created a UCI protocol many years ago for it. I have it on the Mysticum.

I am not 100% on this one if it is Kittinger but I think it is the 1.6 Version. I have the CD but it is Windows 95 and I need to load it onto a Windows 95 PC sometime to know for sure.
This one is WChess 1.6 but for Windows 95 from 1996
This one plays on Windows 95 and 98 and came out in 1998. I have this one working on XP so it might work on later versions of windows as well. This one I also think is WChess 1.6
This is Majestic Chess from 2003 that has the Kittinger WChess 2000 program. This one is also hard to load on some Windows platforms.
Millennium Chess 2000 also I believe includes WChess2000. I have it but have not loaded it on a computer for a very long time.
Also Lokasoft had it I think in one of their software packages.

The way the rating works as it is based on the combined moves of all 5 tests your WChess2000 test finished with a final score of ELO 2489. Which is 37 ELO better than WChess 1.6 Mhz on Mysticum 1000 MHz. Therefore it is still hard to tell if WChess2000 is actually better than WChess 1.6
MYSTICUM 1000 KING 3.5 - BRUCHA PERSONALITY - JOHAN DE KONNING - 2007
King 3.5 is the chess engine version that came with Chessmaster 11 The Art of Learning. The Brucha (Witch) personality is something I kept when I used to play around with Chessmaster 9000 many years ago and transfered to Mysticum.
MYSTICUM 1000 KING 2.5 BRUCHA - TEST RESULT
Mysticum King 3.5 Brucha finished with a score of ELO 2687.
Below is a tournament final table when I had slowed down King 3.5 Brucha to around 8 MIPS to simulate approximately the speed of a 68020 with 40 MHz:
That was quite an interesting tournament where the final winner was unknown until completion of the last round.
