I always like to analyse my games on a computer with chess software engine.
Noting the game manually is always a complete disaster for me.
Often the computer with the chess software is completely remote from the chessboard. So a dedicated chess machine with a USB port would be perfect. I could download from a USB port to a flash drive / memory stick / SSD and take the game with me where ever I wanted.
Unfortunately no dedicated chess machine including the new Tournament 55 from Millennium has a USB port to download the game to a: flash drive/memory stick/ SSD.
My wish list : A wooden tournament size chessboard with automatic piece recognition similar to the new Millennium 55 board but with a USB port to download games.
Wish on.

Re: Dedicated chessboard wish list
Celadus,
While not a "wooden" board, it appears there is a modification to the DGT Centaur available to download game PGNs to USB.

I have not yet attempted to do this on my Centaur.
