Back to Mephisto ESB - Helpsssss

Post by dedicate computers »

Hello chess friends,

My questions are:

a) how should I proceed to remove the module ESBII Board? I say this because it seems to me that they are well fixed;

b) On the other hand, I know that only this board accepts the ESBII module;

c) and about auction on ebay? is totally different than mine?

Hi,

I don't own one, but maybe you can get wiser here :

It seems to me that you have the earliest version while the version on ebay is simply a later variant (that also accepts the III modue)

Hi Oswaldo

first remove the brikett
you wiggle the brickett back and forth(from left to right) lifting it upwards and it will come loose from the board..do so very slowly and gently
then you grasp the ESBII module by the indentation you see and pry the module upward..again..slowly and gently

be very very careful...the brikett and module are connected by very thin leads to the board and they can bend easily

Delicate Regards
Steve
