Don't know how many were made. Very few, you can be sure. As for the
opening library, it's unlikely to be any bigger than the regular Montreux.
They wouldn't go to the trouble of preparing a huge library for such a tiny
production run, since the moves all have to be typed in manually.Big
opening books do precious little to improve performance anyway. Extra
endgame knowledge will do the trick. The rating list gives the exact same
rating as normal Montreux whether NY Edition or not. Seems the plaque
is just for show, as they knew there would be camera close ups during the tournament and they were trying to boost sales. NY Editon did not even have
upgraded RAM.

Hello ,

There where not many Montreux ore even Less NY Montreux produced
Because the area of the upcoming PC Programs 1994/95 the sale was not good
a Pc Program was in the begin 60-75 Euro, while the Montreux was costing +-500 Euro
And also in that time Tasc did have a big problem with the piece Lcd ,because a other Firm did take them to court and claim it was there Patent
There is no difference between these 2 Models only the Signature of Kasparov
And it would be a big difference if the signature was done by hand of Kasparov and not on a label printed
Also for the 2mb , to the 128K , it makes a big difference in long time games
40/120 ,in Active chess almost nothing
The MB are just there for "store" calculating moves/positions so the computer don,t have to start calculate from the begin , because he have "stored" these already in it,s Memory , it is a bit the same as the Fidelity with the learning program
