New YOUTUBE channel by chess coach

Post by KestonyChes »

Dear chess players and fans, I am young and enthusiastic chess coach who loves to work with passionate chess players all around the world and I decided to start my own new youtube channel. I will upload chess videos including every aspect of the game: positional play (pawn levers, how to play with different pawn structures, how to improve your pieces, prophylaxis, manoeuvring, playing against weakness to mention a few), tactical skills (explaining how to become a better tactical player, how to to improve your calculations), opening repertoire (newest chess opening books included, explaining the main ideas and plans behind the moves), endgame studies (step by step explaining every major endgame).

Thank you all chess friends, and I will appreciate your suggestions on improvements, I will try to upload ~4-5 videos a week, If you liked the video and want to say thanks please subscribe.

Sure! I'am chess coach from eastern Europe, I'm currently working as a chess coach in schools and teaching kids from 5 years old, I am also helping an international master Virginijus Grabliauskas as his second and helping him with opening repertoire and I have a few private students from USA.

I'm young adult but I have spent over 10 years on playing chess in different tournaments, I had an opportunity and privilege of being a private student of two international masters for 4 years. I'm also studying at university and finishing my degree. Chess is my passion, it's the first thing I think of in the morning and that's the main reason I wanted to make some videos and share it with the community of chess. It's brand new experience for me and I know it's far from perfect but those are very exciting to make and I'm more than happy if at least one viewer improves his chess knowledge.

I was there, I subscribed and followed one of the videos, very interesting, good way to show the essence of positions. From where are you?

Fernando: thank you for your kind words. I'am from Lithuania. I do understand English 100% but I haven't spoken English for 2-3 years, however after few videos I should speak fluently again.

Larry: Thank you, I am so glad that you enjoyed the video.

If you have any suggestions feel free to tell them.

Hi Kes:
perhaps you could give the chance to any of your subscriber to sends you a game for you to examine and give your advice. You can choose one of the games sent to you according the general interest it could have.
We are here -and probably most of your subscriber will be- more or less average players, with one or two exceptions. Probably we go from 1700 to 2000 Elo. So we can play a decent game, BUT far away of real chess.

Hi fernando, great idea! When I will have 100 subscribers I will ask for them to send their games in pgn or cbh format with a thread "my chess game" to my email and I will annotate them and post 1 or 2 every week!

I made a new video which is very important for all chess players about positional play, how to improve your pieces (bishops in this lesson mostly)!
