The rules are simple the forum members have 48 hours to post moves in this thread. Then Sebi and I have up to 48 hours to respond. Only the team Captain - Dylan - can play the move for the forum team. I expect the moves during the opening will be made a lot more quickly.

You can use Computers to help or even give Kasparov a call.

I would vote for 1...c5. The games that tend to arise from 1...e5 tend to be more drawish, and after all, we're trying to win :-). Even though 1...c5 might make things more objectively difficult for black, I think we should use a positive contempt value in our playing--we're better than they are, so we can win with this!

I see no reason to assume that we are better than the opponent so as black we should be happy with a draw.
