Anyway to figure out which version given I have serial # ..... ??

Although this is a bit puzzling because the one currently on
ebay has a plain "6114" model number, and a "2265" plaque,
making it a Mach3 unless I'm mistaken.

you rarely ever see a 6114-2 model number
likewise ..a "plain"6117(2325) denotes the v6 and you rarely see a 6117-6 model number
you do see the other model numbers such as 6114-3(v3),6114-5(v5)...6117-9(v9)..etc.etc
also Fidelity never released a 6114-1 although it does appear on some price lists
