Apparently boiled eggs weigh more....

Post by Larry »

...than unboiled eggs.
My wife keeps a few hard boiled eggs in the fridge door, separated
from the raw eggs. Not knowing this, I innocently took three of
her hard boiled eggs and boiled them for breakfast. So now they
had been boiled twice and, being hard as rocks, had to be thrown out.
Annoyed, she asked "Didn't you feel the extra weight?"

So if I want heavier chess pieces, I just have to boil them for 5 minutes.
That's much cheaper then buying a whole new set :-P

Bargon regards,

After boiling and cooling the eggs would be more dense but unless cracked should weigh the same as before the boiling.

Sorry for spoiling the fun.

Density regards
