Just a Decent year would do the trick...

Post by Fernando »

I am not simple enough to desire to all of you, mostly old farts, a great 2017, but I can wish for you all a decently peaceful one if the great lords that rule this world leave us to enjoy some.

A big hug to everyone

I am not interested in a peaceful 2017 Enrique,
That sounds like death .

I am interested in revolution and love.

Yesterday I was having a birthday party and the number was 50 and the people congratulating me sounded like they come to my funeral.

Sorry but this is not the way I want to see my life.

I am so happy that computerchess begins to reboot again,

The life without all those computerchess companies I was used to from my childhood, was not that easy for me.

But now the thing begins again.

New companies come out with new interesting products.

It's so interesting, I like this,

Christmas in my childhood. Going into a big shopping center and into the department with the toys. There the corner with the electronic chess computers.
A person , a promoter is standing in front of all the dedicated chess computers from fidelity and Novag and mephisto and intelligent chess and chafitz,
And he talks with the customers. Sells these things and you take the new dedicated chess computer with you and try it out.

Fernando,

Thanx for your good wishes, and I wish you too (and of course all other forum members!) a good year for 2017 :-).

By the way Fern, my offer still stands for a free Turbo Advanced Trainer for you. That is, if you are prepared to pay for the shipping costs.
But you might already have another clone of the GK 2000...

Best regards,
Paul

Off we go on another trip around the sun. Happy New Year to all
and wishing you all good health.
Larry
PS On reflection, I'm reminded of the islamic guy who was adamant
that the sun revolves around the earth. No kidding.

Paul, when a person like you insist in giving something, it would be un polite and lacking of love to insist saying "no". So, just tell me how much is the cost of the delivery and then tell me how I send to you the money, perhaps Paypal?

a hug

I repeat Fernandos wish for a reasonably peacefull 2017.

The wish for a revolution instead should be substantianted (revolution against what and what for) Even at age 50 one could strive for a better command at the english language and thus further a personal revolution.

All of us may have a great year!

Even me, a world wide known linguists, sometimes have problems with English.
