TASC R30

I was hoping to come in under the radar and bag this one, but the
chess computer community has eyes like hawks. The item appeared in excellent
cosmetic and functioning condition, and the seller had good feedback.
However, it was advertised as complete although I could'nt see any
box.
A problem I have with the TASC is that there is circuitry in the base
of every chess piece, therefore a high chance of something going
wrong. Also, if you were to lose a piece you'd have a real problem
getting a replacement. Plus, I'm not crazy about having to set up
the game by joining cables just to play . I was still willing to go
to about AUS $2K, which was obviously not enough.
Did someone here win it?

Hi Larry,

I wish I'd spotted that, I may well have bid on it. It was a private listing so can't even guess who may have won it.....

Cheers,

Al.
