Hi Dave,

the timeframe is between several weeks and several month depending on the number of participants we'll have at the end, so there's no problem with your timetable...

Hi,

we could start between mid of April and beginning of May 2017 depending on the popularity of this tournament...

Hi,

let's define the basic regulations for the tournament like this:

- tournament registration period ends end of April
- the tournament starts on May, 1st
- a even number of participants is needed
- all round robin rounds will be fixed at the beginning
- the matches can be played in any order

Hi Michael,

I can join but I have some travelling that I might have to do in June. So I am a little bit hesitant as well.

Regarding chess computer, I will decide on one later to match your criteria and will pick one that hasn't been picked yet.

Best regards
Nick

Hi all,

My Username is Scally

I'll probably use my Revelation II London Engine if I can get the hang of it, even though the Vancouver Engine is graded higher.

Failing that I'll use my Mephisto London 68030 Tournament Machine.

Cheers,

Al.

will you tell me with that post, that you bought a 3000,-- Euro chess computer and do not know how to operate it?

Please, please read the manual - there's time left until the tournament starts....

I'll take your RevII/London into account for the tournament - the pressure is increasing.... 8)

Shocked regards, Michael

Hi Michael,

I've used the normal engines but am guilty as charged for not trying the Emulations. The Rev2 board is used everyday but as a DGT board connected to PicoChess for testing the latest code.

I will find some time to familiarise myself with the London Emulation tho 😃

Cheers,

Al

Hi,

here's a first shot of the prelimenary tournament table!

It's partly in German, sorry, but there's an English translation at the bottom!

Hi,

I would love to take the Tasc R40 V2.5, but there's a huge hole where I should find it in my collection/cabinet...

Frustration regards, Michael
