Hi Michael,

I will be out of town next weekend for a week. When are you planning to start? Is it beginning of May?

Best regards
Nick

Hi Michael,
generally I could participate, too.
But I am playing 3 online tournaments (Mysticum, "WM" and B-League) at the moment.

Possible would be Mysticum or Berlin Pro, e. g.

Hi,

@Steffen: Super! I would prefer the Berlin Pro for you!

@Ricardo: I know that you do not have any other dedicated chess computer above ELO 2200 - I would accept your Mysticum/Aristarch 4.5 setup if nobody else is against it!

@Nick: No problem - as we now are 12 participants the tournament will take several weeks!

@all: As it seems, that there is no further interest, I will close the registration period on Thursday this week (April 20th) and update the tournament calender respectively.

As you will see all possible rounds from the beginning, you do not have to wait for the beginning of the next round and have not to consider the order of the rounds, but can play your games as it is suitable for you!

@Paul, 4.9 and Nick: Could you post your lichess user name?

Steffen's user name is Fidelity and Ricardo's is ricard60!

Regards, Michael

Scheduling Issue

Post by Dave C »

Hi Michael,

I will be out of town from Thursday April 20 until Saturday May 6 and unable to play during that time. Can you schedule me for a bye on the first week?

Sorry for complicating the schedule.

Okay, Michael, I am going to play with the Berlin Pro.
Alternatively I could use Cathy's Mysticum which is working perfectly :-)

Hi Michael,

I seem to get no mail about this thread, just saw your request. I will register tomorrow at lichess and let you know my nickname.

Best regards

Hi,

I added the time zone of each participant to the tournament table (see link below)!

Please check, if the time zone is the right one - for 4.9 if have no information; please post your time zone!

When scheduling match appointments please consider the possible different time zone of your opponent.

From tomorrow on, the tournament table is fixed and you can start scheduling match appointments here in this post. Best is, to offer wide time slots to increase the probability of success for an appointment. Preferably make your offer in UTC time zone and add the time zone to your offer.

You can pick matches in any round - there's no playing order!

Impatient regards, Michael

Hi Michael,

can you clarify the time controls we are using? Is it 30min/game?

Greetings,

Gerhard
