3rd Party Hosting of Profile Picture etc...
Hi Guys,
What site do you use to store your pictures that can be posted here?
I used PhotoBucket but they now want $399 a year for the privilege, see my profile picture ...
Thanks in advance
Al.

adding a photo here from Flickr is easyScally wrote:Thanks Guys.
In PhotoBucket it gave you the url or address to copy into your profile, I can’t see that on Flickr?
I have uploaded a photo but can’t see how to add it to my signature here to paste that photo as my profile picture?
Cheers,
Al.
you click on the photo then on the bottom right you click on "Share"
then copy and paste the link here
like so:
Peri Epsilon
for my profile photo i used a photo on my computer not from Flickr
but you can try posting the photo link from Flickr into the "Upload Avatar from a URL" box in your profile settings
Photogenic Regards
Steve

Cheers Steve,
I must be doing something wrong?
I can share the link, but not post the picture. I tried 2 different ways:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/144806212 ... ed-public/
https://flic.kr/p/WzHguA
As for the profile picture, I’ve tried everything, nothing works. All my photos on my iPhone or iPad are huge, the profile picture must be less than 8kb.
Guess I’ll go without.
Thanks,
Al.

bottom right... click on "SHARE"

Thanks Steve, it works for posting a picture, but doesn't work for the Profile picture. However, I was then able to save the small picture and use that as my profile picture.
Thanks for your help ...
