Ok it should be a lot of fun. I would suggest we do a best of 5 in both 30 seconds and 1 minute to see if the personalities change with added time.

But I am open for all suggestions.

Also a team match between the two forums would be something that would be a lot fun and good for both forums.

Best regards
Nick

Hi Nick and Steve,
thank you for your challenge. As you can see, we are glad to accept: https://www.schachcomputer.info/forum/s ... php?t=5818

What do you think about a Match "First to ten with 60 seconds per move"? It is not too long or too short in both ways (time per move and the whole match) ...

We also think, that this match could be great fun for both communities ... and perhaps we learn a little bit about the King.

Friendship has no borders Regards,
Sascha

Hi Sascha

Only suggestion I would make is let us do 5 each 30S Active and 1 Minute so we can see what difference there might be in longer settings.

Looking forward to the challenge it should be a lot of fun.

No bad idea at all! If we end up in a 5:5 we can do it like they did it in London (ok, more like 5 seconds per move then) ...

Steve,

I can only play on weekends because of work. So do you want to take the 1 minute matches and I do the 30s matches?

Best regards

Hi,
playing at the weekends is fine for me, because within the week I have also a lot of work (like every begin of the year) ... and do not forget, we have a little time difference ...

Since we are not in a hurry I would have no problems even if the match would take ten weeks ... ;)

Best Regards,
Sascha

OK no worries. There is no rush as Sascha said. We can do weekends. If someone else want to step it that fine too. We could then perhaps do both the 1 Min and 30 Sec at the same time :)

Both mine work except my Lasker one goes nuts as soon as it warms up and keeps beeping and changing screens :) The Element one I bought from Chess USA works perfectly.
